In spring 2026, I noticed something in my YouTube analytics: people in South America and India were watching my backyard bird videos. I wanted to make that content more accessible in their own languages.

I began using ChatGPT to translate titles, descriptions, and subtitles, then copying and pasting everything into YouTube. The process could take up to 30 minutes per video.

“There had to be an easier way. Could I automate this?”

The first working version handled both creating translations and publishing them to YouTube. What began as a way to reduce copying and pasting for my own bird channel started to become something other creators could use, too.

That question became BirdBot—a product of BirdLens Media, built to help creators spend less time managing translations and more time making the content they care about.
